The band are pleased to be performing as part of the Leeds Summer Bands in Leeds Parks series once again in 2023.
We will be at Dartmouth Park in Morley on Sunday, 30th July between 2:30 and 4:30pm. No tickets are required and admission is free. The band will be asking for donations if you are able to support us.
The band were proud to have performed two Summer concerts for Leeds City Council this year at Farnley Hall Park and our local Dartmouth Park. We played a variety of music with one of the highlights being Rachel Costello’s performance of The Wee MacGreegor, a complex solo clarinet piece supported by the rest of the band. Other music included a selection of melodies from Mary Poppins, a specially arranged version of the brass band classic The Floral Dance and Pharrell Williams’ Happy.
We had mixed weather also, with the concert at Farnley Hall Park being held in glorious sunshine but with rain making an appearance throughout our time at Dartmouth Park. Morley folk are a hardy bunch though and stayed to support us throughout.

We also have a break in rehearsals now until the 7th of September.
