October News

Well, I say news.

Our rare September gig – the only one I can ever remember us doing – went extremely well, with many enthusiastic people enjoying a balmy day in Wakefield. I’m sure the ice cream van did a roaring trade.

Our first half-term’s worth of rehearsals have been wonderful. We have welcomed a new face in Cameron, our Tuba player, and quite a few returning players too. We also bade a fond farewell to our long serving Baritone player, Susanne who has moved to university. Needless to say, we wish her well in her studies and know that she will make appearance for us when she is around! The band seems to be going from strength to strength, and I’m still wonderfully proud to be a part of it.
